The Immigrant Employee Support Network (IESN) is a support network of UVic employees from an immigrant background to Canada, also referred to as IEPs (Internationally Educated Professionals).  It is widely reported that these employees face unique challenges and barriers in the Canadian workplace, which sometimes impact their social and professional integration and create misunderstanding, isolation and depression.

The primary goal of our support network is to encourage networking among members, sharing constructive ideas that contribute to supporting a welcoming and inclusive environment at UVic. We also support our members for their career development and emotional health through workshops.
